On-Site Project Manager
General Description

The role of the Onsite Project Manager (OPM) is to ensure the successful execution of construction services projects. The scope of work ranges from winning new Services Projects, to daily project planning, quality assurance and management, to customizing the knowledge base of best practices. The OPM is responsible for generating value to clients by applying VICO software solutions to address their business needs & improve processes.

Sales support
  • Deliver effective presentations about Virtual Construction™ over the web or in person.
  • Win new services projects by creating effective Proposals.
  • Travel to meet clients and prospects when necessary.
  • Negotiate scope and schedule of new services projects.
Project Management
  • Work with customers and sales to manage customer expectation throughout the process
  • Work with global team of PMs and Experts
  • QA all deliverables before they are presented or delivered to the client
  • Ensure that the services team meets key deadlines, or provide an early warning to management when meeting the deadlines are impossible
  • Train clients in using deliverables
  • Work with the product development team and report problems with the process and tools.
  • Create model-based quantity take-off and location-based scheduling deliverables
  • Adjust deliverables based on client feedback, estimator, scheduler and subcontractor interviews
Work Experience and Skills Requirements
  • Fluent in verbal and written communication in English
  • Must be able to deal with customers at all levels – from technicians to C level management
  • Must be highly organized and able to multitask effectively
  • Must have an understanding of process oriented management techniques
  • Must develop a detailed understanding of the construction services business
  • Solid understanding of the construction Industry
  • Good basic computer skills
Education Requirements
  • Bachelors or Master in Construction Management preferred
  • Field experience in construction management, estimating, scheduling or architectural construction administration

Project Architect - Tempe, AZ/Baltimore, MD/Silver Spring, MD

This client has opportunities in Tempe, AZ, Baltimore, MD, and Silver Spring, MD for an experienced project architect to work on some of the most premier higher education and research facilities.

Role:


The Project Architect works with the Senior Project Manager or Design Director in the development of design concepts, and coordinate concepts with the work of other architects, engineers and technicians which are incorporated into a final deliverable.

Responsibilities:
  1. Works on all aspects of architectural projects.
  2. May focus in Project Management, Design, Construction Documents, Technical Specifications, Construction Administration aspects of Project Delivery.
  3. Performs a variety of complex tasks and may be oversee work on minor projects.
  4. Selects, evaluates, and implements procedures and techniques used on projects.
  5. Prepares and submits reports, studies, drawings and/or specifications as requested.
  6. Assist the Senior Architect in developing project man-hours and planning schedule for his/her phases of the project.
  7. Works under general supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Qualifications: Familiar with architectural concepts, practices, procedures, final documents, specifications, materials and construction practices.
Requirements:
  • Architectural Registration preferred.
  • LEED accreditation required within 12 months.
  • CSI certification encouraged- CDT (Construction Documents Technologist) as the preliminary test followed by CCS (Certified Construction Specifier) and then CCCA (Certified Construction Contract Administrator).
  • Proficiency using Revit.
Education:
  • Bachelor of Architecture or Masters or equivalent.
Experience:
  • Five+ years related experience and/or training.
